Constitution Day in Thailand falls on December 10th each year unless the day falls on a weekend, then it will be observed on the following Monday. This holiday commemorates Thailand's change of government to a constitutional monarchy in 1932.
Celebration\ Observance
Firework shows and parades are common around the country. Many will celebrate with the images of past and current Thailand Kings with thanks to the Monarchy for granting democratic reforms.
History
Thailand changed to a constitutional monarchy in 1932 and have had 18 changes over the years but have largely remained the same type of government. This shows that the Thai people stand behind their monarchy and will support it.
