Labour Day - Singapore

Labour Day in Singapore falls on May 1st each year and celebrates the labor movement of the workers.

Celebration\ Observance

People can attend union rallies or parades that support the worker and their human rights. Many will spend the day with family and friends to relax and be thankful to have the day off work!

History

The Labor Day movement has its origins in the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries with workers rights becoming a priority around the world including the Singapore people.
