Remember the Julian New Year changes over time as compared to the Gregorian calendar so in the years 1583 to 1700 it was January 11th, 1700 to 1800 January 12th, 1801 to 1900 January 13th, 1901 to 2100 January 14th, and 2101 to 2200 January 15th and so forth. Hence many cultures around the world will celebrate Orthodox New year on different dates as related to the Gregorian calendar.
